Kayak Rentals

For those wanting to out on their own, we have a fleet of kayaks available for rental at our location in downtown Boothbay Harbor. A two-hour round-trip paddle from our shop can take you out to the Burnt Island Lighthouse. Pack a picnic and enjoy an afternoon out on the rocks, or make a day of it and continue your paddle up through the Townsend Gut into the Sheepscot River.

If you would like to have a kayak on hand for your whole stay in Boothbay, we offer free delivery for multiday rentals, so can bring the boats straight to your cottage or camp, and come pick them up when you are finished with them!

Kayak rentals include basic instruction, life jacket, and paddle, and we give you a choice of single or tandem kayaks. Our rental fleet is made up of Necky and Boreal Design kayaks in a range of sizes to accommodate all paddlers. They also have rudders for added stability and ease of maneuvering.
