Sheepscot River Tour

This full day trip takes you through the islands of the Sheepscot River, exploring part of the Maine Island Trail. Among these islands we will find a perfect spot to spread out a picnic lunch and watch the gulls flying alongside the fishing boats out in the distance. From the Sheepscot we paddle back into Boothbay Harbor in time for an afternoon of shoreside relaxation.

Outer Island Tour:

Outer Island Tour

We will launch our kayaks from the mainland and head out to the outermost islands of Booth Bay and have a chance to enter the harbor of Damariscove Island—a spot rich with history and magnificent views that have witnessed everything from Captain John Smith and Bluebeard to German U-Boats in WWII. This tour includes a picnic lunch and is subject to sea conditions.

What to bring on a tour:

Shoes you don't mind getting wet (sandals/sneakers), sunglasses, sunscreen, plenty of drinking water, and a waterproof camera. Many of these items can be purchased in our store.
